Since the recent addition of Garcinia Cambogia to the InsideOut Wellness and Weight Loss HCG diet store, I’ve been getting a lot of questions from patients about the difference between the Garcinia Cambogia and our Raspberry Ketones. The most common questions is which product is better or which product will help me lost the most weight. First of all, they’re both good products. I don’t put anything in our HCG diet store that I wouldn’t use myself. How do I determine which products to include in the store? Primarily by doing my own research. If the physiology makes sense, then I’ll add it.  I don’t pay much attention to “studies say,” because studies can say whatever those funding the study want the study to say. As a result, I rely primarily on the physiology and mechanism for which these products work. I then do more investigating into the quality of the product so I can find the best available for my dieters. In the case of both the Garcinia Cambogia and the Raspberry Ketones, both products make sense, so now the big quesiton, which is better? hydroxycitrate (HCA)

As I said before, they’re both good products, but they both facilitate weight loss in very different ways. See below…

  1. Raspberry KetonesRaspberry Ketones regulate a hormone called Adiponectin. What does Adiponectin do? Adiponectin attacks our fat cells, causing them to lyse or shrivel up. See the Dr. Oz video below. The Dr. Oz Show provides a good demonstration of this. The individual fatty acids are then sent to the liver and oxidized and ultimately eliminated. As a result of this fat burning mechanism, Raspberry Ketones are a good recommendation to supplement while you’re on the low-calorie phase of the HCG diet. 2. Garcinia CambogiaGarcinia Cambogia is a fruit plant from India. The active ingredient or the primary weight loss factor in Garcinia Cambogia is hydroxycitrate (HCA), which is obtained by the fruit of theGarcinia Cambogia plant called the Brindall Berry. HCG from the Garcinia Cambogia fruit inhibits the conversion of excess carbohydrates to fat. Given this mechanism, it would be necessary for you to supplement the Garcina while you’re on the low calorie phase of your HCG protocol, especially if you’re doing HCG 2.0, because it is already very low in carbs. Garcinia Cambogia would be most effective following the low-calorie phase (P2) of your HCG diet, when you prepare to re-introduce carbs to your diet during the maintenance phase or P3. To purchase Garcinia Cambogia, click here.

So, given the information above, it’s best to supplement the Raspberry Ketones while you’re on the low calorie phase of the HCG protocol to accelerate weight loss. Following your low-calorie protocol, you’ll then want to add the Garcinia Cambogia to assist you in your transition into the maintenance phase. However, don’t feel that you absolutely need these products to achieve success with HCG 2.0. You don’t, but they can provide an additional boost. Nor do you need to accompany the products with the HCG diet. If you’re at a comfortable weight, they would be good to supplement to maintain that weight. hydroxycitrate (HCA)

As a result of patient demand, we’ve just added Gardcini Cambogia to the InsideOut Wellness and Weight Loss HCG Diet Store. Since Garcinia Cambogia was first mentioned on Dr. Oz Show, it has gained tremendous popularity in the weight loss community. I’ve had several patients recommend that I add the product to the HCG diet store because they, themselves, have used the product with success. Bio-Citrin

each capsule contains:

  • Garcinia Cambogia 500mg (Hydroxycitric acid 250mg from 500mg standardized Garcinia Cambogia)
  • Chromium Polynicotinate 100mcg
  • Bioperine 2.5mg

Garcinia Gambogia 179x300 InsideOut Wellness Adds Garcinia Cambogia to HCG Diet StoreHCA is (-)-hydroxycitrate, an organic compound obtained from the dried rind of the Brindall berry fruit of the plant, Garcinia Cambogia, which is native to India. This chemically unique compound has been studied extensively for its effects on appetite regulation, metabolizing carbohydrates and total body lipids. Double blind studies indicate those that took BioCitrin three times per day lost an average of 11.1 pounds per person over the other group that lost only 4.2 pounds per person*. Because BioCitrin™ may inhibit the metabolic enzyme in the body that is responsible for conversion of carbohydrate into fat, it thereby, may reduce fat and cholesterol production and play a role in increasing the formation of additional glycogen. BioCitrin™ has been shown to have a reduced involvement with the central nervous system, therefore, not having the normal appetite suppressant side-effects of nervousness or insomnia. Chromium Polynicotinate is a form of chromium that has proven to be easily absorbed and retained in the body. The average American has been found to be chromium deficient. Chromium, in clinical studies, has been found to aid in the enhancement of insulin controlling blood sugar and cholesterol levels for prolonged energy production and it aids in the metabolization of protein into muscle. BIOPERINE® is the Natures Bioavailability Thermonutrient™ added for maximum absorption. BioCitrin™ with a proper diet and exercise program may benefit: •Increased energy* •Decreases in sugar cravings* •Decreases in appetite* •Preventing carbohydrate and protein conversion to fat* •Inhibiting loss of lean muscle mass* •Overcoming insulin resistance* •Aiding in maintaining good cholesterol levels*
