The couple initially bonded over a shared love of organic food. Seriously.

Could this be the best pick-up line ever for organic and clean-eating fans? "So you shop all organic, huh?"

At least, it worked for one man in Florida. That man, Vladimir, used it on a woman named Monica at Cash Register Two of a Coral Gables Whole Foods a year ago, and the two have been dating ever since, as covered by Florida news station WPTV.

Naturally, Cash Register Two is where Vladimir decided to pop the question. (The checkout aisle was strewn with rose petals, of course.)

MORE: Over-the-Top Proposals: Adorable or Tacky?

While the couple was in the store, an announcement came over the intercom: "Attention, customers: Monica and Vladimir, please report to Register Two," and Monica's favorite John Legend song started playing. Then, well… Watch the proposal in the video below (and prepare to be disappointed every time you go grocery shopping and only leave with groceries from now on):

Friday is a big day for Michelle Obama—she’s turning 50! She recently sat down with People Magazine to chat about the big 5-0 and it turns out she’s already tweaked her workout routine in light of the milestone.

“I’m seeing myself shift from weight-bearing stuff—even though that continues to be important—and the heavy cardio and running, to things like yoga that will keep me flexible,” she said. Her goal is to focus on balance and flexibility so she’s not “falling and breaking a hip one day.”

We applaud Mrs. Obama for thinking about her long-term health. But you don’t have to wait until you’re half a century old to hit the mat. Check out how yoga can help you right now!

Have celebrities found the fertility fountain of youth? WH explores what's behind the rise of the midlife mom

Bump watchers are abuzz: Well past her "Just a Girl" days, Gwen Stefani, 44, is reportedly expecting her third child. Her pal, 42-year-old stylist Rachel Zoe, was close to having baby number two at press time, and actress Halle Berry recently popped out a kid—at 47!

The truth is, birthrates for all U.S. women ages 40 to 44—many of whom are getting knocked up for the first time—have hit a four-decade high, according to the National Center for Health Statistics. That fact calls into question the long-accepted belief that fertility plummets after age 35, leaving older women with scant chances of conceiving. Is 45 the new 35? Well, maybe.

New research suggests that around 65 percent of women who start trying to get pregnant naturally at age 40 will be successful, per the journal Human Reproduction. That's a huge—and welcome—number to many who've been told to "forget it" by 40. However, it comes with a caveat, says Nicole Noyes, M.D., a reproductive endocrinologist at the New York University School of Medicine. "That success rate goes down rapidly from 41 to 45, after which point almost all women are infertile," she explains. In other words, they're out of viable eggs.

Enter the ever-advancing field of assisted reproductive technology. These days, just because you're out of your own eggs doesn't mean you can't use someone else's and carry a baby to term (assuming you have the funds—assisted fertilization procedures can run upwards of $10,000). "Many of the babies you see in women around their mid-forties are either from donor eggs or their own previously frozen eggs," says Noyes.

Indeed, it's an attractive option for women who put off baby making for career building. And it's especially appealing to fit 40-plus women who know that, in the coming years, they'll likely still have the physical and mental energy to handle the demands of motherhood. "The age for what's considered 'too old' has definitely gone up," says Jean Twenge, Ph.D., a professor of psychology at San Diego University and author of The Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant. "There is a sense that you live your life first, then have kids. Better nutrition and exercise routines are helping older women feel that they can do just that." Remember, though, no matter how young you look on the outside, on the inside your eggs are still aging.

Evengline's secrets to staying true to yourself

The former Lost star, and now star of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, shares her best tips for being your most authentic self.

Get Comfortable Saying No
Evangeline isn't overly concerned with pleasing other people and refuses to partake in things that don't reflect her core values. "Saying no is not hard for me; it's scarier for me to say yes. I'm actually more afraid of commitment than of saying no," she says.

Be Independent Without Alienating Others
The actress learned how to be self-reliant at a young age. "Growing up, there were no boundaries; we were a very codependent family. That always sat wrong with me, so I needed to figure out how to assert those boundaries. At first [that meant] just getting out of Dodge. I left home at 19. My parents didn't have a phone number for me, no address, and I didn't communicate with them for six months. I learned how to do it properly after that. . .how to have boundaries without having to run away."

Save Your Firepower
She may be willing to fight for what she believes in, but she's learned how to do it in a way that doesn't rile her up. "[In the beginning of my career] I would get in reporters' faces who would ask the wrong question," Evangeline says. "Instead of politely declining, I would be like, 'OK, this interview is over.'" Now she's able to keep her cool and assert herself in a more relaxed way.

Our Next Fitness Star winner shares her top tips for super flat abs

Stacie Clark, winner of the first ever Next Fitness Star competition and star of the Women's Health Power Sculpt Series DVD, knows a thing or two about abs. Here, four must-know secrets:

Schedule check-ins
Of all your body parts, your middle is the most susceptible to daily weight changes (think bloating, dehydration, a food baby), but those temporary ups and downs don't accurately reflect your progress. Instead of obsessing over every fluctuation in the mirror, set up biweekly check-ins and take a snapshot—or record your waist and hip measurements.

Give it a rest
Seven brutal workouts each week won't speed up your results. "Giving your body a chance to rest and recover is how change really happens," says Stacie, who recommends taking one or two days off a week. (If you're feeling antsy on those days, do a lighter workout, like taking a hike or bike ride.) When you exercise, you break down muscle fibers; it's the healing recovery process that actually reshapes your body.

Slash portions
The best way to control your calories and keep belly fat at bay is to learn how to distinguish proper portion sizes. "There are so many external variables that can mess with our appetite and hunger cues, like tough workouts, dehydration, and stress," says Stacie. "By focusing on portion sizes you have a very objective measure of how much to eat at one time."

Choose quality over quantity
Forget banging out hundreds of crunches: Three total-body strength sessions each week will get you better waistline results, says Stacie. "If you want extra abs attention, you can add a short core workout before or after a cardio routine." (Like the 10-Minute Belly Melt in our DVD!)

And what you should learn from it

Andrea Travillian, of financial website TakeASmartStep.com, on four women's average monthly wellness expenditures.

The Pro Runner
ANNICK, 27, Portland, OR

The Expenses
Running coach: $100
Massages: $120
Preventive physical therapy: $40
Iron supplements and vitamins: $30
Running shoes, racing shoes, and training clothes: $60
Local and organic food: $50
TOTAL: $400

The Takeaway
Since Annick's PT sessions aren't for an injury, Travillian suggests spacing them out by an extra week. The same goes for the running coach. "Try going less but using what you've learned and doing the movements on your own," she says.

The Fancy-Gym, Fancy-Food Fan
LINDS, 33, Denver

The Expenses
Gym: $175
Acupuncture: $160
Herbs: $35
Multivitamins, minerals, aminos, and probiotics: $60
Health food: $350
Raw-pressed juices: $60
Classes like Barre Method: $50
Massages: $65
TOTAL: $955

The Takeaway
Spending big is fine if you can afford it, but Travillian suggests lowering costs by switching from raw-pressed juices to smoothies. "You need less fruit for the drink, and blended produce retains more fiber," she says.

The All-Natural Urbanite
TIFFANI, 33, Pittsburgh

The Expenses
Chiropractic co-pay: $25
Organic veggie delivery from a local farm: $40
Organic food: $300
Gym: $50
Weekend trips to de-stress: $175
TOTAL: $590

The Takeaway
A travel outlay of $175 a month may seem steep, but Travillian approves of spending on mental health. "It's so important," she says. However, Tiffani could lower her costs by going organic only for eats that are more likely to be contaminated, like apples or spinach.

The Grad Student on a Shoestring
CARY, 24, Ann Arbor, MI

The Expenses
Multivitamins and probiotics: $40
Gym membership: $25
Gym clothes: $25
Exercise classes: $10
TOTAL: $100

The Takeaway
Travillian suggests doing some legwork and comparison shopping for vitamins and supplements to find the lowest price out there. "There can be a big price difference on the exact same product from store to store," she says. "I buy mine on Amazon for much cheaper than at stores."

Follow these rules, whether or not you're a fixture at the gym and health food store

1. Think First, Pay Later
"One of the mistakes people make is thinking, If I buy this, then I will use it," says Gretchen Rubin, author of The Happiness Project. "You have to realize that buying something is not the same thing as using it." Instead, she says, be sure your purchases reflect your values or your past healthy behavior. If you love a head-clearing run, signing up for indoor surfing classes might not be for you (even though it's super-trendy right now). Or if you eat tons of veggies but never cook at home, consider whether you'll really benefit from that produce-delivery service.

2. Deploy Your Friends Effectively
Whether you invite a friend to join you on morning runs or in a "bring lunch to work" endeavor, the result is the same: There is a person waiting for you to show up. You either make good on the commitment or let them down. "You can't underestimate the value of social interaction when it comes to getting the most out of your health-care dollars," says Ryan Howell, an associate professor of psychology at San Francisco State University. That social pressure means you'll fit in a workout or make your own lunch, no matter how much you're dragging—which keeps the cost of the gym or groceries from going to waste.

3. Try Before You Buy
Test workouts before loading your credit card with monthly fitness passes. One free option is YouTube, which is chock-full of exercise classes, both full-length and teaser versions. Want to check out one of those cardio-ballet classes everyone is talking about? Do it online and save $35. Too embarrassed to bring your two left feet into Zumba? Give it a try at home first. For more high-quality versions, you can purchase a DVD workout for less than $20. (You can also borrow from the library for free!)

4. Log It
Keeping a journal of your progress is a way to stay on track with fitness or diet regimens, but it also helps you save money. You'll be able to see where your cash was put to the best use. You'll easily pinpoint the value of that monthly yoga pass, for example: If you dropped $150 on it but went to only four classes, you should pay the $15 drop-in fee instead. Or if you find that you ate only one of the Greek yogurts in the 12-pack you bought, maybe it's time to find a new (and possibly cheaper) snack. Make tracking simple with an app like MyFitnessPal.com.

Take this quick quiz to learn the smartest way to save money on getting fit

Identifying your health M.O. can help you conserve funds, says Erin Frey, head of research at the motivate-you-to-do-anything Lift app.

If You Are Super Disciplined
You make exercise and healthy eating a priority and rarely take days off from either.
Save: On a gym membership—you're the type who will work out anywhere
Spend: On equipment you use often, like free weights, a bike, or a treadmill

If You Need A Kick In The Butt
You skip workouts to snooze, or intend to order a salad but wind up with a cheesesteak.
Save: On boutique classes you pay for in advance (and will never attend)
Spend: On conveniences, like pre-hard-boiled eggs at the grocery store

If You Need A Challenge
You seek out difficult activities, whether it's training for a triathlon or trying a vegan diet.
Save: On a coach or trainer—you prefer researching and creating your own training plan
Spend: On entry fees for local races and sports leagues or a half-Ironman

If You Get Bored Easily
You test out anything that's supposed to be good for you, from Pilates to the paleo diet.
Save: On gear—you won't use it for long (go to Play It Again Sports for items like used resistance bands)

Adopt these smart saving strategies

Travel by Bike
The U.S. is becoming more pedal-happy, which can save you money. If you're just riding to and from work, spend about $500 on a commuter bike—skip the carbon frame or GatorSkin tires. Or, if your city has one, sign up for a bike-share program, which costs about $100 a year.

Eat More Frugal-Friendly Health Food
These go for less than $1.00 per serving: Try black beans or chickpeas (both $0.89 per can) in a salad; snack on non-GMO edamame ($2.49 for a 15-ounce bag, or $0.50 a serving). For dinner, pick up red lentils ($3 a pound, about $0.30 a serving) or quinoa ($5 a box, about $0.40 a serving).

Swap Sweating For Sipping
Organize a girls' night out or "sweatworking" meeting at a fitness class, which costs less than dinner out and spares you all of those cocktail calories.

Bake Homemade Protein Bars For Breakfast On The Go
Could you also buy something pre-packaged? Yep, but a recipe with almond butter, bran cereal, dried fruit, and seeds would cost you less than $.50 a bar, while a similar store-bought version is closer to $2.

Wellness is a multibillion-dollar industry, but that doesn't mean you have to make a mint to get in shape. Here's how to tighten your belt in more ways than one.

As anyone who's ever worked out with a personal trainer or ordered a home-delivery cleanse can attest, healthy living can get pretty pricey. That said, spending on your health is a good investment—literally. A recent study published in the Journal of Labor Research found that regular exercisers (those who work out at least three hours a week) earn 6 to 9 percent more than sedentary types. The reason: Getting your heart pumping has been linked to improved mental function, psychological well-being, and higher energy levels, which can lead to increased productivity and, consequently, higher earnings. Still, it always pays to stick to a budget. So we put together a guide that will help your bank account stay as strong as your body.

Since the recent addition of Garcinia Cambogia to the InsideOut Wellness and Weight Loss HCG diet store, I’ve been getting a lot of questions from patients about the difference between the Garcinia Cambogia and our Raspberry Ketones. The most common questions is which product is better or which product will help me lost the most weight. First of all, they’re both good products. I don’t put anything in our HCG diet store that I wouldn’t use myself. How do I determine which products to include in the store? Primarily by doing my own research. If the physiology makes sense, then I’ll add it.  I don’t pay much attention to “studies say,” because studies can say whatever those funding the study want the study to say. As a result, I rely primarily on the physiology and mechanism for which these products work. I then do more investigating into the quality of the product so I can find the best available for my dieters. In the case of both the Garcinia Cambogia and the Raspberry Ketones, both products make sense, so now the big quesiton, which is better? hydroxycitrate (HCA)

As I said before, they’re both good products, but they both facilitate weight loss in very different ways. See below…

  1. Raspberry KetonesRaspberry Ketones regulate a hormone called Adiponectin. What does Adiponectin do? Adiponectin attacks our fat cells, causing them to lyse or shrivel up. See the Dr. Oz video below. The Dr. Oz Show provides a good demonstration of this. The individual fatty acids are then sent to the liver and oxidized and ultimately eliminated. As a result of this fat burning mechanism, Raspberry Ketones are a good recommendation to supplement while you’re on the low-calorie phase of the HCG diet. To read about how Rachel Ray lost 27 pounds on a combination of HCG and Raspberry Ketones, click here.
  2. Garcinia CambogiaGarcinia Cambogia is a fruit plant from India. The active ingredient or the primary weight loss factor in Garcinia Cambogia is hydroxycitrate (HCA), which is obtained by the fruit of theGarcinia Cambogia plant called the Brindall Berry. HCG from the Garcinia Cambogia fruit inhibits the conversion of excess carbohydrates to fat. Given this mechanism, it would be necessary for you to supplement the Garcina while you’re on the low calorie phase of your HCG protocol, especially if you’re doing HCG 2.0, because it is already very low in carbs. Garcinia Cambogia would be most effective following the low-calorie phase (P2) of your HCG diet, when you prepare to re-introduce carbs to your diet during the maintenance phase or P3. To purchase Garcinia Cambogia, click here.

So, given the information above, it’s best to supplement the Raspberry Ketones while you’re on the low calorie phase of the HCG protocol to accelerate weight loss. Following your low-calorie protocol, you’ll then want to add the Garcinia Cambogia to assist you in your transition into the maintenance phase. However, don’t feel that you absolutely need these products to achieve success with HCG 2.0. You don’t, but they can provide an additional boost. Nor do you need to accompany the products with the HCG diet. If you’re at a comfortable weight, they would be good to supplement to maintain that weight. hydroxycitrate (HCA)

Bio-Citrin

each capsule contains:

  • Garcinia Cambogia 500mg (Hydroxycitric acid 250mg from 500mg standardized Garcinia Cambogia)
  • Chromium Polynicotinate 100mcg
  • Bioperine 2.5mg

Garcinia Gambogia 179x300 InsideOut Wellness Adds Garcinia Cambogia to HCG Diet StoreHCA is (-)-hydroxycitrate, an organic compound obtained from the dried rind of the Brindall berry fruit of the plant, Garcinia Cambogia, which is native to India. This chemically unique compound has been studied extensively for its effects on appetite regulation, metabolizing carbohydrates and total body lipids. Double blind studies indicate those that took BioCitrin three times per day lost an average of 11.1 pounds per person over the other group that lost only 4.2 pounds per person*. Because BioCitrin™ may inhibit the metabolic enzyme in the body that is responsible for conversion of carbohydrate into fat, it thereby, may reduce fat and cholesterol production and play a role in increasing the formation of additional glycogen. BioCitrin™ has been shown to have a reduced involvement with the central nervous system, therefore, not having the normal appetite suppressant side-effects of nervousness or insomnia. Chromium Polynicotinate is a form of chromium that has proven to be easily absorbed and retained in the body. The average American has been found to be chromium deficient. Chromium, in clinical studies, has been found to aid in the enhancement of insulin controlling blood sugar and cholesterol levels for prolonged energy production and it aids in the metabolization of protein into muscle. BIOPERINE® is the Natures Bioavailability Thermonutrient™ added for maximum absorption. BioCitrin™ with a proper diet and exercise program may benefit: •Increased energy* •Decreases in sugar cravings* •Decreases in appetite* •Preventing carbohydrate and protein conversion to fat* •Inhibiting loss of lean muscle mass* •Overcoming insulin resistance* •Aiding in maintaining good cholesterol levels*
