Learn the #BigEvents happening in Sochi today

It's game time in Sochi! We're keeping you up to date on all the Olympic-sized excitement right here on WomensHealthMag.com.

Women’s Super Combined
Going into these Games, alpine skier Julia Mancuso had the most Olympic ski racing medals of any American woman ever. Her first race in Sochi—the super combined (downhill plus slalom)—took place this morning. Julia won the silver in this race in Vancouver 2010, so the big question is: Can she make it onto the podium again? (Here’s the answer.)

Short Track: Men’s 1500m
Two-time bronze medalist J.R. Celski is going to be around a lot in Sochi, and he made his debut in the 1500m earlier this a.m. You can check out spoilers here.

Women’s Luge
Women’s singles kicked off this morning at 9:45 a.m. EST/6:45 a.m. PST and will wrap up tomorrow with the last two of four runs. Erin Hamlin, back for her third Winter Olympics, is the Team USA woman to watch. On a related note, if you're confused about the difference between luge, skeleton, and bobsled, we clarify it for you here.

Men’s Moguls Final
Hannah Kearney got third in women’s moguls on Saturday and broke all of our hearts when she tweeted that winning the bronze medal felt a “lot like a broken heart.” (We happen to think she has a ton to be proud of!) Now it’s the men’s turn.  Their finals will take place at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST.
